ZTE Introduces The Nubia Red Devil Smartphone Aimed Towards Gamers
Smartphones specifically aimed towards gamers seem to be a growing trend lately after the releases of the Razer Phone and Xiaomi’s Black Shark smartphone with the Snapdragon 845. Xiaomi is about to get some competition as ZTE will launch their Nubia Red Devil smartphone in the Red Magic subbrand.
The new phone by ZTE and the debut product in the Nubia Red Magic line also runs on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip and should launch tomorrow, according to rumors reported by Android Community. We can also expect to see plenty of internal RAM memory on the gaming phone, perhaps as much as 8 gigabytes.
Other rumored specifications include a Full HD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 128 gigabytes of built-in storage. It’s possible but unconfirmed that the Nubia Red Devil would come with a 120 Hz panel, putting it into direct competition with the Razer Phone.
Early renders of the design of the Nubia Red Devil smartphone have been leaked, showing a somewhat aggressive and rugged exterior, some kind of RGB LED bar on the back of the device and a single camera. The phone will initially launch in China, India, and Europe, but it’s unsure if the Red Devil will make its way to North America as well.
