ASUS Shows TUF Gaming FX504 Laptop With 120Hz Display
ASUS has launched a new gaming laptop with a relatively low price tag in its ‘The Ultimate Force’ series, or TUF. Remarkably, the TUF Gaming FX504 laptop also comes with an optional Full HD screen with 120 Hz refresh rate.
The FX504 will come with either an Intel Core i5 8300H or Core i7 8750H processor, depending on the configuration. Graphics are being handled by either a GTX 1050 or GTX 1050 Ti with two and four gigabytes of internal video memory, respectively. Speaking of memory, the laptop can be equipped with up to 32 gigabytes of DDR4 internal memory. Different storage solutions are also available, ranging from a traditional 5400 RPM 1TB hard drive to PCIe SSD’s or a combination of both.
Aside from the version with a 120 Hz panel, the TUF Gaming FX504 will also release with two regular 60 Hz panels, including one with an IPS display. The design is somewhat aggressive looking and features red color accents. The laptop has a maximum thickness of just under an inch and weighs just above five pounds.
It appears ASUS will launch their new TUF Gaming FX405 laptops as soon as April 16th. The configuration with Core i5 8300H, GTX 1050, 8 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSHD will cost $699,00. Other pricing details are yet to be announced.
