ASUS Announces Black/Red Inexpensive Prime B350M-E AM4 Micro-ATX Motherboard
ASUS has released a new motherboard in its line-up for AMD’s AM4 socket, the Prime B350M-E. The mainboard uses a B350 chipset and is being targeted for the budget friendly market. The motherboard has received a completely black design, with a couple of red touches and LEDs. The size of the motherboard is Micro-ATX.
The Prime B350M-E features a 6-phase VRM without cooling pads. The motherboard has also been equipped with two DDR4 memory slots. Remarkably, ASUS has decided to fortify the only PCIe x16 slot with a layer of metal. In between the PCIe slots, you’ll find an M.2 slot with support for NMVe SSD’s.
The motherboard has six SATA 600 ports, two times full-speed USB 3.1 Gen 2 including one with the Type-C interface, six times USB 3.0 and video outputs of DVI, VGA and HDI. There’s also an RGB-header to control the LEDs on this motherboard, which can be controlled via ASUS’s included Aura Sync software.
A recommended retail price or release date for the ASUS Prima B350M-E hasn’t been announced as of yet.
