Rumor: First Images and Video of AMD Radeon RX Vega Graphics Card Leaked?
VideoCardz, who has been accurate with graphics cards rumors in the past, has a released new images of an unannounced AMD RX Vega graphics card. They released a short teaser where the new graphics card can be seen from a number of different angles.
The RX Vega card has a dual-slot cooler and features a light-grey metal build, with machined lines and a red and illuminated Radeon-logo.
Although the AMD Vega cards haven’t been announced yet, the company has detailed some of its specifications. The Vega GPU will feature 4 or 8 gigabytes of High Bandwidth Memory 2.0 memory and will most likely consist of 64 compute units for a total of 4096 cores.
AMD has announced the Radeon Instinct a while ago which has 12,5 Tflops of horsepower if the consumer-line RX Vega cards will feature the same horsepower is probably, although hasn’t been confirmed yet.
What we do know is that the AMD RX Vega will be announced in the second quarter of the year, with the latest rumors suggesting an introduction this May.
