Razer Blade Pro Upgraded With A GTX 1080 And THX Certification
We’ve known for awhile that Razer would refresh the Razer Blade Pro. Yesterday, Razer told us what to expect and how much it’ll set us back. If you’re looking for a powerful laptop packed to the top with high-end specs this laptop might be the one for you. The only thing that’ll set you back is the premium price tag, but what can you expect from an ultra-thin yet powerful laptop?
The Razer Blade Pro comes with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 anda multi-touch display (17.3-inch 4K IGZO). The GTX 1080 is the top of the line GPU’s on the market, and it’s crammed into the Blade Pro. There’s also an Intel Core i7-7820HK with 32GB of DDR4 RAM. There are SSD options that range from 512GB all the way up to 2TB in RAID configuration. All of those impressive specs will keep your laptop feeling snappy even when you’re throwing everything at it.
Razer Blade Pro upgrade comes with a hefty price tag
While the hardware is a standout, it’s not enough to pull in customers these days. The Razer Blade Pro is now certified THX. So, both the audio jack and the screen are certified for the best listening and viewing experience. You’re not going to find that certification on other laptops because Razer owns THX. Not to mention you’ll also get Razer’s standout low-profile Chroma mechanical keyboard.
If all of the specs and unique features interest you; it’ll set you back $3,999.99 USD or €4,499.99 in Europe. It will first launch in the UK, Germany, US, Canada, and France in April, with a worldwide launch in the following month.
Tell us in the comments below what you think about the Razer Blade Pro. Are you going to shell out the $4,000 for the powerful gaming laptop, or are you going to choose a lower priced option from Razer?
