Adata Presents Sturdy and Rugged SD600 External SSD
Adata has presented a new product in their line-up of external solid state drives. The SD600 is an external SSD that manages to catch the attention thanks to a rugged, sturdy and sporty look. The compact drive is waterdrop and shock resistant according to Adata and has a low weight of 3,17 ounces which makes the external SSD very easy to carry around.
The drive uses 3D TLC memory. As is usual with three-dimensional TLC drives, a small amount of the NAND is being used as SLC-cache in order to beef up the read and writing speeds. Sequential reading and writing speeds are 440 and 430 MB/s, respectively.
Adata hasn’t announced a price or a release date for the Adata SD600 yet, but it will release in both 256 and 512 GB capacities in red and black color variants.
