When it comes to gaming keyboards, Razer is one of the biggest names around. The brand is especially favored among professional gamers whether they play League of Legends or Counter Strike. Razer recently released their new BlackWidow Chroma V2 mechanical gaming keyboard and it’s certainly colorful.
The keyboard’s color scheme is fully customizable and features 16.8 million colors and several other effects. Of course, this keyboard has much more going for it than just a pretty paint job and is rated to last for at least 80 million keystrokes. This is the highest rating a mechanical keyboard can achieve and should last gamers for several years. Additionally, it features an optional magnetic wrist-lock to help provide comfort during marathon gaming sessions.
Razer co-founder and CEO Min-Liang Tan issued a statement praising the BlackWidow V2 as the best keyboard they’ve ever produced. He says that improvements were made across the board and his company remains the only one around to design [keyboard] switches specifically with gaming in mind. By building off their original 2010 BlackWidow edition, he feels that the Razer BlackWidow Chroma V2 is the best mechanical keyboard the company has ever produced.
As with previous models of the BlackWidow, you can customize the keyboard’s settings by using Razer’s software and share those settings with others.
The BlackWidow Chroma V2 is available for $170 in the United States and 200 Euro in Europe.
