iPhone 7 Leads To Second Degree Burn, Woman Refuses Replacement
We have heard that the iPhone 7 has been exploding here and there but Apple has been keeping this under the cover. But I need to know how long the company can keep this away from the public eye? Everyone has the right to know whether the device they spend all day with is safe or not.
Here is a case about a woman who has suffered second degree burns after sleeping with her iPhone 7. This incident took place in Australia where a woman plugged in her iPhone 7 and fell asleep while watching a movie only to wake up and feel a sharp pain in her arm. She found 2nd degree burns on her arm due to the device.
Now I know that this is not as bad as what happened with the Note 7 but I have to give it to the guys at Samsung. They really took care of the situation unlike Apple that has refused that this is even possible.
This is what the woman in question has to say about the incident:
Apple took my phone and details, but said it couldn’t have been the phone because it didn’t have a distinct smell. I then got a call from a member of the executive team who told me they were now handling the matter and had sent the phone to a senior technician in California for testing.”
Apple representative also said that this was not possible as the iPhone 7 is designed to shut down if it gets too hot but that does not seem to have happened here.
The burn is pretty bad and word has it that it will leave a scar that will only be removed with plastic surgery. The woman in question had no demands and only wanted to spread the word. She was also offered a phone to compensate for her loss but she refused as she had “lost trust in the company.”
What do you think about this iPhone 7?
