Nvidia had a great third quarter with the revenue off the charts and the company is expecting the last quarter to be similar as well. Nvidia seems to have Nintendo locked in for a long time as the company claims that they are going to be sticking with Nvidia architecture for years. Nintendo Switch might be another snatch for team green and could help the company get more money through the doors.

Nintendo-Nvidia relationship is going to start in 2017 with the release of the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo has made it clear that the company will be sticking with the architecture for the next two decades and how they are going to stay with the times might be questionable this is still great news for the green team.

CEO and founder Jen-Hsun Huang said:

“And so that’s a real advantage and we’re really proud of them. I guess you could also say that Nintendo contributed a fair amount to that growth. And over the next – as you know, the Nintendo architecture and the company tends to stick with an architecture for a very long time. And so we’ve worked with them now for almost two years. Several hundred engineering years have gone into the development of this incredible game console”

If these words are anything to consider then I guess all the hype around Nintendo Switch could be worth it and Nintendo Switch could be something that meets the needs of the everyday gamer. There is still a lot that we do not know and all will be revealed in the Nintendo event next year in January so stay tuned for that.

“I really believe when everybody sees it and enjoy it, they’re going be amazed by it. It’s really like nothing they’ve ever played with before. And of course, the brand, their franchise and their game content is incredible. And so I think this is a relationship that will likely last two decades and I’m super excited about it”.

Nintendo Switch will be coming out in March 2017. So stay tuned for more information regarding the hybrid console.
