Nvidia Q3 Revenue Is At $2 Billion USD, Similar Forecast For Q4
It seems like only yesterday that Nvidia was opening champagne bottles to celebrate the first time the company hit $1 Billion in sales and look at where the company is now. Nvidia Q3 revenue is a huge sum of $2 Billion. This Nvidia Q3 revenue is a 54% increase as compared to last year.
All things accounted for the GAAP net income is $542 million, this is a 108% increase as compared to last quarter and a 120% increase as compared to Q3 2015.
We know that this is majorly due to the incredibly successful GTX 10 series GPUs. Nvidia has acknowledged this fact and though they have not attributed this increase to a specific product. Still, CEO Jen-Hsun Huang did talk about the years and money spent on developing Pascal and how Nvidia has implemented it now. It clearly shows in the Nvidia Q3 revenue.
Nvidia is expecting the next quarter to be even better with the holidays season coming up. The introduction of the 10 series mobile GPUs also played a huge role this quarter and not to mention the launch of the Tesla P4 and P40 GPUs, and shipments of the DGX-1. All has contributed to the last quarter earnings.
