Apple refurbished iPhones used to be officially sold by the company back in 2007 but Apple has long since discontinued the practice. Now however things have changed and a few Apple refurbished iPhones have been found on the online site. With the Apple refurbished iPhones users will be able to get up to 15% off the price of a new model.

Apple refurbished iPhones rose gold 64GB 6S Plus models can be found on sale for $589 besides that you can get a silver 16GB iPhone 6S Plus for $529. The Apple refurbished iPhones come with a year of warranty, a new shell and battery and they come unlocked out of the box without a sim.

Apple already sells refurbished products like Macs, iPads, MacBooks, and Mac accessories but it has been a long time since Apple has sold refurbished phones. This could be the result of the declining market share of Apple. This could be an attempt to sell more phones as we know that the Apple iPhone 6 did not do all that well in the market.

We also heard about the iPhone 7 explosions, so that could also be a factor to consider here. Plus with these discounts the barrier to entry is lowered a bit and more people can buy Apple refurbished iPhones instead of getting new ones. The discounted prices might seem a bit more appealing and worth spending for the customers.

I still believe that hardcore Apple fans are going to buy Apple products no matter how crazy the pricing is. We have seen the latest MacBook Pro line and the pricing the laptops are set at. Needless to say the people that are going to stick to the Apple ecosystem will spend money to keep things that way.

What do you think about these Apple refurbished iPhones and would you buy one?
