iPhone 7 iOS 10.1.1 Jailbreak Achieved But Tools Not Released Yet
What if I told you that iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak has been achieved but the tools needed in order to do that have not been released to the general public? At least not at the time of writing this article. Well, that is exactly the case here.
Security researcher Luca Todesco was able to achieve iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak on the iPhone 7. let me remind you that this is the same person that showed us that is was possible to jailbreak iOS 10 no matter how hard Apple tried to secure their devices.
Luca Todesco has teased the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak on Twitter and has not released the tools needed to do so. This is both exciting and sad at the same time. The exciting thing is that now we know that this can be done. So it is a matter of time before someone else figures out a way to jailbreak iOS 10.1.1.
Once that happens it is likely that the tools needed will be given to the general public so that everyone can take advantage of the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak. While we are on this topic it is important to note that Pangu and the sorts in the jailbreaking community have gone silent and that we have not heard from them for a while. This could be an indication that they have nothing to offer.
If that is so then this could mean that the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak is not as close as we might think it is. The thing is, Luca Todesco always likes to show off that he has jailbroken his device but the never releases the tools needed to do so. We can not expect a solution from his side.
What do you think about Luca Todesco not sharing the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak with the rest of the community and are you waiting for the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak to come out?
