Galaxy S8 Release Date Delayed Due To Galaxy Note 7 Investigation
We all know about the Galaxy Note 7 incident and how it has spread like wildfire. Although Samsung has started working on the Galaxy S8 it is likely that the Galaxy S8 release date will be pushed ahead a bit due to the company being forced into investigating the reason behind the Note 7 explosions.
Governments and other companies are also getting involved now as this is becoming a threat to other people as well. We recently talked about how the Note 7 is banned on planes, buses, and trains for passenger safety.
Samsung is doing its best to find out the source of the problem concerning the Note 7 explosions but as of right now there is no clear indication of what was the cause of the problem.
Having that said the Galaxy S8 release date will have to be pushed back in order to deal with this ongoing investigation. These turn of events have had a great impact on Samsung and the company has laid back more than 200 people from the executive body.
There are numerous rumors regarding the Galaxy S8 specifications and what kind of device it will be and it seems that it will feature new tech that will leave the Note 7 behind. The following are the rumors and speculations regarding the Galaxy S8:
- Dual-camera configuration
- 4K display
- Powerful ARM Mali GPU
- Daydream compatibility
We will not be getting the S-pen as that is a feature that is exclusive to the Note series but I think most of us can manage without that and people that are used to it will be the only ones that will miss the stylus.
I think that it is more of a luxury than a necessity although I openly admit that it is a very cool thing to have on a phone.
