Google Pixel 3 Laptop Will Feature The New Andromeda OS
Microsoft has the Surface series, Apple has the Mac, now it seems that Google also wants some of the action. The company is planning to release the Google Pixel 3 laptop. This Google Pixel 3 laptop will be an ultra thin device and Google is designing it so that it can be used in tablet mode as well. This could be Google’s entry into the hybrid 2-in-1 laptop market segment. The upcoming laptop will come with the new Andromeda operating system.
Android Police claims that the Google Pixel 3 laptop will have the following specifications:
- Intel Core m3/Core i5 processor
- 8/16GB RAM 32/128GB storage
- Fingerprint scanner
- 2 x USB Type-C
- 3.5mm audio jack
- Stylus support
- Stereo speakers
- 10-hour battery
- Backlit keyboard
- Glass trackpad w/haptic feedback
- Andromeda OS
Reports claim that there will also be a slightly more powerful, Core i3, 128 GB memory, 16 GB RAM version of the Google Pixel 3 laptop as well. Pretty much like what Microsoft did with the Surface Pro 3 and the simple Surface 3. You know what? I think the Google Pixel 3 laptop could compete with the competition. There might not be many people that use the Chrome OS but there is a market for such a product and such an operating system.
What we need to see is how well Google can execute the Google Pixel 3 laptop with the new Andromeda OS. The laptop is expected to come out later in 2017 so there is a bit of a wait before we can see what it has to offer. Note that do not take this specification to heart as the release of the laptop is pretty far, these specifications could change during this time gap.
All things considered, Google is a big player in the market and I am sure that the Google Pixel 3 laptop will be a great product and will take advantage of the never ending list of services that Google has to offer. How Google executes the Google Pixel 3 laptop, we will soon find out.
