Exploding Galaxy S7 Edge; Samsung On an Explosive Spree
We have all heard about the Note 7 explosions that have been going on around the world. It was so bad that the US government got involved and Samsung had to recall the devices. That was the Note 7, what we have here is a case of an exploding Galaxy S7 Edge. What is it with Samsung and exploding devices?
Weng Briones, a resident of Philippines is the victim in question here. The user took to Facebook regarding the exploding Galaxy S7 Edge. Unlike other people, the user was fortunate enough not to get hurt. He went to the local Samsung retailer and got a full refund for his defective device.
Weng Briones, the victim, states the following about his experience regarding the exploding Galaxy S7 Edge:
We went to Samsung store at SM City Taytay, and they have refunded my money in full. Kudos to all the staff of Samsung SM Taytay for their immediate action regarding my issue. In spite of the unfortunate incident, I am, however, impressed by their aftersales-support. Much respect to Samsung. Keep safe everyone.
I am sure keeping in mind the recent events, there was no doubt that Samsung would refund the user. It would be either that or something way more serious. We are talking about an exploding phone here. This is not something that governments take lightly.
It is safe to say that this is a huge PR mess for Samsung and after the Note 7 incident, the exploding Galaxy S7 Edge is not helping the company make a comeback. We hear rumors that Samsung is rushing to release the S8 Edge. Samsung if you took your time with the Note and it exploded, maybe it would be a wise thing to do, not to rush your next flagship device.
