Asus G11 Gaming Desktops Now Come With The GTX 10 Series GPUs
Asus is one of the most reputable names in the PC hardware race. The company has now announced that the Asus G11 gaming desktops will come with Nvidia 10 series GPUs. With the Asus G11 gaming desktops now housing the latest Pascal GPUs, you will be getting the best VR experience. This series was introduced late last year so it already came with the 6th Gen Intel Skylake Core i5 or Core i7, but now you get the latest GPUs in the mix as well.
Asus G11 gaming desktops also support DDR4 memory. The base Asus G11 gaming desktops version will cost you $999.99 in the US. It has the following features:
- Intel Core i5-6400 processor
- 2.7 GHz
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
- 8GB of DDR4 memory
- 1TB hard disk drive
- Windows 10 Home 64-bit
This version will start shipping out to customers November 2 onwards. Although you could custom build something that will outperform this PC but you are buying a pre-built system from Asus and that means paying a premium for it.
After the base version, there is a $1199.99 Asus G11 gaming desktops variant which is more powerful and has the GTX 1070 with 8 GB of VRAM. The rest is pretty much the same as the base model. The most expensive configuration comes in at $1,799.99. It comes packed with the following specifications:
- Intel Core i7-6700 3.4 GHz
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080
- 16GB of DDR4 memory
- 512GB solid state drive
All of the three models come with a 500W power supply unit as well. You can buy the latter two as they are available at Newegg and other major retailers. You will have to wait for the base model though. With the Asus G11 gaming desktops, you get the Aegis II software. This will allow you to record, edit and share you gaming sessions with others that might be interested.
