Galaxy Note 7 Explosion; Six Year Old Burned, Samsung Responds
Heard about the Galaxy Note 7 explosion problem yet? Well, the situation just got from bad to worse.
If you do not know then let me tell you that there seems to a manufacturing problem with the Galaxy Note 7 battery which is causing Galaxy Note 7 to explode. Already a few people have been affected by this issue, we have seen burning vehicles and people being burnt because of this Galaxy Note 7 Explosion issue.
This six-year-old boy is also a victim of this Galaxy Note 7 explosion issue.
This boy from Brooklyn New York was holding the device in his hands when the Galaxy Note 7 explosion happened. Fortunately, the boy was rushed to Downstate Medical Center. The grandmother of the boy claims that he was watching a video on the device when the Galaxy Note 7 explosion incident took place. The family has contacted the company about the incident but we do not know what the conversation was.
Samsung has contacted phone arena and the spokesperson stated the following:
We are engaged with the Lewis family to ensure we are doing everything we can for them and their son. Customer safety remains our highest priority as we are investigating the matter.
Samsung has advised customers who have bought the new Galaxy Note 7 to turn off the device and return it to retailers. The company is offering two options that you can opt for until the new batch of Galaxy Note 7 phones come out. You can go to the retailer and exchange your Galaxy Note 7 for a Samsung Galaxy J as a loaner. Or you can exchange your Galaxy Note 7 for a Samsung Galaxy S7 or Samsung Galaxy S7 edge model. The price difference will be paid in store credit or in the form of gift cards.
