MSI Afterburner 4.3.0 Beta 14 Supports DirectX 12 Overlays
MSI has now introduced the MSI Afterburner 4.3.0 Beta 14, this supports the new AMD RX 400 series as well as the 10 series GPUs from Nvidia. The MSI Afterburner 4.3.0 Beta 14 also comes with support for DirectX 12 overlays. What does this mean? This means that you get all those sweets stats and numbers about CPU and GPU temperature among other things.
The MSI Afterburner 4.3.0 Beta 14 allows gamers to adjust system setting to get the required results. If you want 60 FPS then you can make all the tweaks necessary in order to do so. Using the stats, you can see whether the game needs tweaking or there is a bottleneck in your system and whether or not you need to upgrade.
We have also updated RTSS, our statistics server that enables the overlay with MSI AfterBurner, yes we now offer DirectX 12 overlay support (albeit this build again is in BETA stages and should be treated as such).
However, MSI Afterburner 4.3.0 Beta 14 clearly states that this is not finished yet and is under testing so you might encounter a couple of issues here and there. But rest assured that there will be a more stable version coming out soon so everyone will be able to update their drivers and take advantage of the new capabilities that it has to offer.
