Nvidia Releases 372.70 WHQL Drivers for Battlefield 1 Open Beta & Quantum Break Steam Version
Nvidia has released new Game Ready 372.70 WHQL drivers for GeForce graphics cards. The drivers will offer optimizations for a trio of the latest PC games, namely Battlefield 1 Open Beta, World of Warcraft: Legion, and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
Apart from these optimisations, 372.70 WHQL drivers include a DPC (Deferred Procedure Call) fix for multi-GPU systems, among other fixes and tweaks. As per release notes, Nvidia has enabled Fast Sync for Maxwell GPUs and the Extended, Clone, and Surround multi-monitor configurations.
The Battlefield 1 Open Beta launches today and is available for grab via Origin PC. The game features a new 3D Vision Profile though it is currently ‘not recommended’. Nvidia promises to deliver the best experience straight away with its GeForce Game Ready 372.70 WHQL drivers.
Legion by Blizzard, the sixth expansion pack for the popular World of Warcraft, and the recent Deus Ex: Mankind Divided release also get ‘Game Ready’ optimizations. The latter has also got its 3D Vision Profile upgraded to ‘excellent’.
In addition to these three titles, the latest Nvidia drivers are optimized for the upcoming Quantum Break Steam version. They are specifically designed to ensure a smooth DirectX 11 support on Windows 7 and Windows 8.X systems.
As for bug fixes, 372.70 WHQL drivers resolve issues with:
- Fallout 4 using Ambient Occlusion;
- High DPC (Deferred Procedure Call) latency after the GeForce GTX 1080 upgrade;
- Occasional SD video upscaling corruption on Windows 10; and
- FALCON (GM204) on pre-Windows 10 systems.
You can download the new Game Ready 372.70 WHQL drivers through GeForce Experience, by searching on the GeForce drivers page.
