iPhone 6s Beats The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in App Speed Test
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was recently released and it is Samsungs’s flagship smartphone. This means it comes with the state of the art hardware. It houses a Snapdragon 820, quad-core processor along with 4 GB RAM, 12-megapixel camera. It is waterproof and comes with a stylus. Not to mention the beautiful design. It has features like wireless charging and iris scanner that the iPhone 6s does not have.
On the other hand, the Apple iPhone 6s has a dual core A9 processor so, in theory, the iPhone should be no match for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Theories aside real world app speed tests show different results and the iPhone 6s beats the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 when it comes to launching apps.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 may have more juice but real world testing shows that it is no match for the superior hardware and software integration found in the Apple iPhone 6s. In this app speed test, both phones were used to launch the same apps and what we see as a result is that the iPhone 6s takes the lead.
Keep in mind that the iPhone 6s has been in the market for about a year now so it is a year old phone and the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is, in fact, a new model. Yet it still cannot beat the iPhone when it comes to app launch speeds.
This is just one test where the iPhone takes the lead but it goes to show that Apple’s integration of hardware and software has given the company an edge over the competition. A year old phone has been able to keep up with a recently launched phone.
Having said that, we will be seeing a new iPhone soon and sources indicate that this device will be coming out early September. The new iPhone will feature a better camera, faster processor and maybe more RAM as well.
