New PS4 Slim Will Replace The Older Version Just Like The PS2
Images of the PS4 Slim appeared online and they did seem legit. They were reported to be to posted on Twitter by a user who found the pictures on an auction site. We knew that Sony was going to make a big announcement soon at the New York event and now reports claim that the announcement was concerning 2 new PS4 models: the PS4 Slim and the PS4 Neo 4K gaming console.
The PS4 Slim will be replacing the PS4 and will be sold as standard starting 14th September, soon after the launch at the event in New York. Reports claim that the PS4 Neo will also be shown at the event and then we will be able to find out more about the gaming console and what it is capable of.
It seems that this new PS4 Slim will not have any new features to it and will likely be the standard PS4. You will not see an upgrade like the one we say with the Xbox One S. Which does not make sense as the two products do rival each other and I do not see why someone who already owns a PS4 would go buy a PS4 Slim if there is nothing special about it besides the fact that it is slimmer.
Long story short, if you are looking to get into console gaming and you want a PS4 then you will most likely be getting a PS4 Slim as this will be the new standard gaming console from Sony from September 14th onwards. So if you were going to buy one of these then you better wait for the PS4 Slim to come out first so that you can enjoy gaming on the latest version instead of getting the fat one. This is PS2 all over again.
