Modern Warfare Remastered’s Graphics Compared Against The 2007 Version
Activision has just announced a remaster version of the classic Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. As part of the Infinite Warfare livestream today, they have also showed off some new footage of the Modern Warfare Remastered, shedding light on the kind of graphically stunning visuals that you would expect from a current-generation console game.
Being developed by Activision subsidiary Raven Software, Modern Warfare Remastered will feature “vibrant current-generation visuals, with fully improved texture resolution and detail, high-dynamic range lighting, lit and shadowing VFX particles, revamped animation and audio, stunning sound, and much more,” according to a press release.
Below are a few photos that compare graphics of the 2007 version against the new edition in development highlighting how far things have come over the decade.
Modern Warfare Remastered comes bundled with the Legacy, Legacy Pro and Digital Deluxe editions of Infinite Warfare. The project features the full campaign, along with 10 multiplayer maps, but so far, only three (Crash, Backlot, and Crossfire) have been revealed.
There is a catch though: you will have to buy one of the premium versions of Infinite Warfare to get the remaster version.
