HIS Radeon R7 360 Green iCooler OC Announced with 50W TDP!
HIS Digital has been prepping their low power consuming graphics cards in the past and now they have announced their Radeon R7 360 Green iCooler OC that boasts of half the TDP requirements as the standard prescribed by AMD itself!
The company says that due to the Thermal Design Power, their card as a super low TDP of 50@ only which compared to a straight 100W TDP of AMD’s own specifications.
Apart from all that, HIS has also added an OC to it of 1070 MHz core and allows running overclocked performance “without the need of any 6-pin power socket.” Since it is using less power it is also bound to produce lesser heat. They claim that the GPU temperature is dropped by 8 to 10 degree Celsius.
And at the same time, the iCooler promises to be more efficient as well as less noisy than what you usually get – less than 28dB noise levels for a 90mm fan.It has a 128-bit memory bus with a 2GB GDDR5 and uses the PCIe bus for power alone.
Talking of the low power consumption, it looks like their Radeon R7 360 Green iCooler OC builds upon less demanding high-grade VRM components. These components are more energy efficient than the standard R7 360.
