Origin PC’s Chronos SFF Gaming Rig Packs a Punch; Core i7-5960X, GTX Titan Z, 32GB of RAM
Origin PC has unveiled a new Chronos small form factor desktop for gamers that uses the smallest SFF case it’s ever offered.
The Chronos SFF desktop measures just 11.75 x 4 x 13.75 inches. For default configuration, it packs Intel Core i5-6500 processor, 8GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 graphics card, 120GB “Origin PC approved” SSD, and 450W Silverstone SFX power supply — all this within the total volume of a mere four liters.
Running on Windows 10 Home 64-bit out of the box, the Chronos is literally capable of taking any GPU thrown into it, claims Origin PC. In fact, it all comes down to your budget when customizing your Chronos SFF.
You can equip it with up to an Intel Core i7-5960X or Xeon processor paired with up to a GeForce GTX Titan Z graphics card, up to 32GB of RAM, four SSDs, a full size mechanical drive, liquid cooling and a 650W PSU.
The ORIGIN PC CHRONOS is as flexible as it is compact, capable of being situated in four different orientations either vertically or horizontally thanks to its innovative magnetic feet and rotating backlit logo. Effortlessly move the feet to any part of the steel chassis and flip the CHRONOS to whichever position your heart or desk desires then rotate the backlit logo to match the orientation. The only thing left to do is push the power button and get lost in your favorite game or application.
Origin PC Chronos SFF is backed by a 1 year part replacement warranty. Longer warranties are available, up to three years with free shipping and lifetime 24/7 support and labor for a $249 up charge.
Pricing is fairly reasonable for a gaming rig, starting at $1,440 for a Z170 setup. For more details, visit the official product page.
