Nvidia 364.47 Driver Bug is Causing Crashes, Hold Off the Downloads
An Nvidia 364.47 driver bug has been reported by users who tried to download the new updates which had been released recently by Nvidia specially for Tom Clancy’s The Division & Need For Speed.
Apparently, users who have downloaded the “game ready” drivers were faced with system crashes on certain occasions although the GeForce Game Ready 364.47 drivers were supposed to improve performance.
Talking of, although the update does add Vulkan support and more game based support for Hitman and Ashes of Singularity alongside the aforementioned games, it is advisable that you do not update your drivers unless a hotfix is released for the Nvidia 364.47 driver bug.
Users who own Nvidia graphic cards from the seven up to nine series have reported that their system do not even boot after the installation is complete if they are using more than one monitors.
The reason why we are sure that the problem is directly related to some Nvidia 364.47 driver bug is that users are able to start their systems if they are using the default display drivers. Other than this, if you can do with just one monitor, then this driver update for Nvidia GeForce Experience will work fine for you.
We are not sure when Nvidia is going to release a hotfix for the problem, but we can assure you with almost certainty that it will be soon.
