Frenchman says The Galaxy S6 Edge Saved his Life During Paris Attacks
The double suicide blasts at the Stade De France came as part of a series of coordinated Paris attacks on Friday which claimed at least 153 lives. A Frenchman, however, has told of how his life was saved by his Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, after he was caught in the middle of terrorist attacks.
The man, named only as Sylvestre, was at the stadium and had just ended a phone call when a terrorist detonated his suicide belt just meters from where he stood. At least six fans died in the two consecutive explosions at the Stade de France.
According to Sylvestre, a flying piece of shrapnel from the blast smashed into his phone, which would have caused his head to explode had he not had the device next next to his head. The shrapnel also struck in his foot and abdomen but is lucky to be alive after the attack.
