AMD Radeon R9 Nano and R9 Fury X Can Be Used in CrossFire
This is a rather interesting bit of a news; it is possible to use the AMD Radeon R9 Nano in CrossFire with the R9 Fury X.
It has been experimented and confirmed that the two cards can work in the multi GPU solution that allows up to four GPUs to be packed together on one system.
Needless to say, this can do wonders for the graphical performance of your PC even if you are not using these two new cards, but having the Radeon R9 Nano in CrossFire with the R9 Fury X is a totally different thing seeing the potential of the two cards.
Nano, despite being a small form factor graphics card, packs a powerhouse and uses the same Fiji XT GPU as the R9 Fury X which is why some of you might already have expected this feature.
That being said, the R9 Fury which uses Fiji GPU can also be combined in CrossFire with Nano.
AMD R9 Nano was launched recently for a price tag of $649 and was graced for being faster than GeForce GTX 980 – you can read up all about it here.
If you are interested in the official benchmarks for the AMD R9 Nano, this is where you should be right now.
