A “Super Premium Phone” Coming Our Way, Tips LG CEO
LG is all set for its second flagship smartphone for the year, CEO from the company Cho Jun-ho tipped and revealed that consumers can expect a ‘super premium phone’ by the end of the year.
Although LG released the G4 and its two other variants in 2015 but they aren’t ready to stop just yet. This might be the gripping phone that the company has been trying to launch ever since. Rumors were that the G4 didn’t do quite well and could not meet the expectations.
Well this might be LG’s chance to gain back the lost respect and market share with the upcoming one of a kind phone. The company might be focusing on a bigger display and much more advanced features.
Apparently that is all they need. Displays have become an important part in consumer’s choice. Note that OLED technology that it is focusing on will help them and establish their territory over screens.
The upcoming smartphone will be placed ‘above the G series’ said Eason Shao, LG Taiwan’s mobile department director in May.
In June, a report said that the upcoming phone will have a metal design and called the G4 Pro. While another report said that it will be a G Pro 3 with 6 inch display, fingerprint sensor, 20.7-megapixel rear camera, 4GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
LG isn’t the only one planning on launching its flagship phone at the end of the year. We are sure to see Sony’s Xperia Z5, iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note 5. What happens remains to be seen. Hopefully, one out of all these will win the race, or not.
