Acer Displays 34-Inch Curved QHD Gaming Monitor Featuring AMD’s FreeSync Technology
To provide gamers with stunning visuals, Acer America has displayed a 34-inch QHD (3440×1440) gaming monitor with AMD FreeSync technology.
It’s worth mentioning that Acer has designed a pretty unusual hybrid of curved display monitor and AMD’s FreeSync technology, as both the technologies have never been used in single device but in Acer XR341CK.
With its curved 21:9 panel, Acer’s monitor promises fully immersive gaming experience by enhancing the range of peripheral vision, the manufacturer claims.
“This killer new monitor makes game play incredibly realistic,” said Charlotte Chen, Acer America product manager. “The ultra-wide curved design, stunning image quality and dynamic audio take the thrill of gaming to a new level.”
According to the press release by Acer, monitor’s zero frame design enables gamers to dig deep in the visuals without annoyance of blind spots. In addition, it provides “maximum viewing area” which can be further broadened with multi-monitor setups and daisy chaining.
Acer gaming monitor brings an amazing 3440×1440 QHD resolution. With response time of 4 ms and 100 sRGB color gamut, the high resolution 34-inch monitor seems to have everything to offer reliable display capabilities.The Acer XR341CK features Acer EyeProtect technologies to ensure presentation of the content to gamers’ eyes in a strainless manner.
The Acer XR341CK comes equipped with picture-by-picture (PBP) and picture-in-picture (PIP) functionality. These functionalities will give gamers a highly productive multitasking ability with which they can watch movies and work simultaneously.
The Acer XR341CK will be offered via online retailers after mid-July. It will cost its buyers a MSRP of $1,099.
