Counter Strike: Global Offensive Leads Sales On Steam Summer Sale
Gamers around the world love Counter Strike, and they have since the first one came out. The latest addition to the franchise is Counter Strike: Global Offensive, which has been available for a while. However, its demand among PC gamers is just as strong as ever.
Recently, Valve’s PC gaming platform known as Steam held a Summer Sale, in which Counter Strike: Global Offensive was also available as part of the sale.
According to some new data revealed by SteamSpy.com, Counter Strike: Global Offensive was the leading title in terms of sales. The game managed to generate $4.5 million in revenue. In total, CS:GO sold 606,696 sales, which is a 4.46% in owners.
The game sold at a discount of %50.
Meanwhile, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition was at number 2 and managed to sell 394,961 copies during Steam Summer Sale. Steam saw an increase of 12% increase in The Witcher 2, while selling at an 85% discount. The game was selling for $2.99.
Interestingly, at number 3 we had the newly released ARK: Survival Evolved. The game sold 380,893 copies during the sale.
Steam is probably the biggest gaming platform we know and it harbors some of the most amazing gaming content, and holds regular sales on its website.
