QuickPanel Restore Can Fix Missing Toggles From Galaxy S6 And Edge
Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge users who have been suffering due to problematic disappearance of the quick toggles for mobile data, Wi-Fi hotspot and private mode can rectify the issue by using a new app from Samsung called QuickPanel Restore. The app is available on the Galaxy Apps store.
Though Samsung has responded proactively to tackle the issue, it hasn’t explained the cause of sudden disappearance of quick toggles on several Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge devices.
Nonetheless, the ultimate solution is there in the Galaxy Apps store. Users can get rid of the problem by following a simple procedure.
As obvious, nothing can be done without the QuickPanel Restore, so go to the Galaxy Apps store and download the app.
After downloading the app, just open it and click on the “Restore” button. This should bring the missing quick toggles back.
Separately, according to a news source, senior user of the XDA Developers forum Mr. Nimeni Altu has also purposed a solution for the problem. This unofficial fix for the issue consists of downloading and installation of some APK files. Among the available files are fixdatatoggle.apk, wifihotspotfix.apk and privatetogglefix.apk.
In order to fix the issue with this unofficial method, the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge users will need to install all the above stated three apps. Then the users will have to tap on “add MultiWIndow toggle.” Thus, hopefully, the missing toggles will be recovered.
It is worth notifying that the official solution—which means using the QuickPanel Restore from Samsung—makes the APK files solution null and void.
