Windows 10 Mobile Might Launch in September
For those of you who have been avid Windows Phone users might know that the latest update might be releasing on 29 July but the Windows 10 Mobile update will launch a few months later.
Usually what happens is that the mobile version of the Windows comes after some time, when the company has already fixed the bugs and problems going on with the update. Users have to wait for months in order to know the exact dates when the update will be coming forward.
Well luckily enough in a meeting with partners, one of the spokesperson for Microsoft produced a presentation and an entire list of possible release dates were presented. For OS versions like Mobile, Xbox and Hololens usually come late and mostly not at the same time.
According to the slide you can see the Windows 10 Mobile version for consumers as well as the enterprise will come out somewhere ‘late next quarter’ which undoubtedly means the end of September.
The spokesperson did not seem much excited about the September release, in fact wanted it to launch in October. The month’s later release will allow the company to polish the Windows and fix problems rising in the new update.
This slide was presented to partners and OEMs not the regular consumers, which means that cycle updates and account carriers have not been put into consideration. The update can take longer than the expected time depending on your country and provider.
However this release date is what so ever a tentative date, as it may take longer to fix bugs and come up with possible solutions before the mobile version runs out.
