Biostar Z97X Motherboard Is The Very First To Get Certified for Windows 10
According to an announcement by Boister, its new Z97X motherboard is now the very first to be certified for Microsoft’s Windows 10. The gaming centric motherboard, Z97X, is the first of its kind fully developed from the ground-up by Biostar.
The ATX form factor motherboard, is jammed-pack with features like USB 3.0, PCIe M.2 Support, PCI Express 3.0×16 slots, Dual GBe LAN and BIOSTAR’s very own Hi-Fi audio support.
The board supports both 2K and 4K resolutions, there is also a SATA Express Connector that supports both SATA and PCIe storage devices with 10GB/s data transfer rate.
Biostar is proud to work with partners like Microsoft and Intel to be the first to bring high-end motherboards like the Gaming Z97X certified for Windows 10.
Z97X supports the following CPUs:
- Intel® Core™ i7 LGA 1150 Processor
- Intel® Core™ i5 LGA 1150 Processor
- Intel® Core™ i3 LGA 1150 Processor
- Intel® Pentium® LGA 1150 Processor
As for memory support, expect dual channel DDR3 3000(OC)/ 2800(OC)/ 2600(OC)/ 2400(OC)/ 2200(OC)/ 2133(OC)/ 1866(OC)/ 1800(OC)/ 1600/ 1333/ 1066 MH.
Support for non-ECC memory modules is added, with four DDR3 memory slots. Moreover, AMD Crossfire support will help those looking to add more than one GPU to their gaming PC build.
