This Video Foreshadows Design Of Next-Gen Nexus 5
In a video titled “Fingerprint and Payments APIs” on the Google Developers YouTube channel, a Nexus 5-like phone is being used to explain some of the features of Google’s upcoming OS, Android M. Some news sources speculate that Google is probably foreshadowing its next-gen Nexus 5.
A Reddit user first stumbled upon the 2:48 minute video. In this video, we can see a red Nexus 5 model. Meanwhile, we can notice an unusual fingerprint button right next to the rear camera of the smartphone.
Beyond that, another user noted that the featured Nexus 5 had a USB-C port as well.
According to the news reports, Google can implement this design in its next-generation of the Nexus 5 handsets.
LG and Huawei are reportedly manufacturing houses for upcoming Nexus phones. LG is supposedly developing an advanced level Nexus 5 version.
