Microsoft Reportedly Developing a New Email and Chat app for iOS, Flow!
Although Microsoft is struggling with its Windows phones, it is reputed to produce some kickass apps. Reportedly, Microsoft is developing a new email and chat app for iOS called Flow.
@h0x0d posted on Twitter that he stumbled upon a ‘confidential’ file on Internet and it contained information about the upcoming Flow app.
According to the description on the document, Flow is meant to be a light-weighed, easy to use and quick email app which is expected to change the way you chat and email. It will be an alternate to Outlook which will let users reply quickly and easily to their emails.
Here is what the description of this secret app reads:
“Use Flow with anyone, it’s email: Reach anyone with an email address and all conversations for you and others are also in Outlook. Together, you can use Flow and Outlook interchangeably to participate in the same conversations.
Fast, fluid, natural conversations: No subject lines, salutations, or signatures. Flow is designed for fast, light-weight conversations in real time.
Focus on what’s important: Only conversations started in Flow and their replies show up in Flow, not your whole inbox. Focus on your most important person-to-person conversations without the noise.”
The emails already residing in your Outlook will not appear in Flow, hence eliminating the clogged cross over. Only those conversations started in Flow will appear in the app keeping your things cleaner.
ZDNet’s Mary Jo Foley asked Microsoft about the news and an official said that they have nothing to say about it. It will be lighter, faster, easier and the chances of overlapping are minimum.
