Sony Puts a Bluetooth Speaker in an LED Bulb Costing $200!
Interesting stuff is happening in the world of technology these days. The same companies that are revamping the way we look at games and gadgets by introducing virtual reality headsets like Project Morpheus are also introducing LED bulbs that come with a bluetooth speaker – and we are talking about Sony here.
We are talking about a 360-lumen bulb that you can use to impress your girl when she comes over for a dinner at your place. You’d do that by installing the bulb (or bulbs) around your dining table, pair them with your smartphone and play some romantic songs to give a background to your food – smooth!
Oh and you also score when she asks you where the speakers are.
With your phone, you will be able to adjust both the volume of the music playing as well as the brightness of the bulb itself.
It also has a remote controller of its own that can be paired using NFC.
Thinking of ordering one for yourself? Well, I would suggest you hold your horses for a while for two reasons precisely. The first one is the Sony has only released the bluetooth speaker bulb in Japan for now and it is still to get launched in the US, while the second is that it costs $200!
So yeah, until you have (at least) heard what those speakers sound like, maybe you should keep that wallet deep down that pocket.
The idea is fun though!
