Asus ZenFone 2 With 4 Variant Models launched in Malaysia
The Taiwanese phone maker Asus has released its flagship smartphone ZenFone 2 in Malaysia, making all four models of the device available in the country.
ZE551ML is labeled as the top variant of the four and it is the highest priced out of the four. It has a 5.5-inch screen sporting 1920 x 1080 display and has a 2.3GHz quad-core processor powered by Intel Atom Z3580 chipset.
The phone comes in two in built-in memory options i.e. 32 GB (RM1,099 i.e. $306) and 64 GB (RM1,299 i.e. $362) with a 4GB RAM. It has a removable battery that runs up to 3,000mAh, 13MP back camera and a 5MP front camera.
The second in its line comes a phone with the same model number also classified as the top variant. It has the same specs however follows a slower processors. It runs on a 1.8GHz processor powered by Intel Atom SoC and has a 13MP back camera and a 5MP front camera. It only has a 2GB RAM, which if compared with the previous model is quite low and priced at RM899 ($250).
Third phone is ZE550ML that runs on a 1.8GHz processor and it is powered by Intel Atom chipset. It has an in-built internal storage of 16 GB with a 5.5 inch screen (720p resolution), 13MP back camera, a 5MP front camera and a 2GB RAM. It costs RM749 ($209)
Fourth and the last variant launched in Malaysia is called ZE500CL, which is relatively slower than the rest of the phones introduced. It has a 1.6GHz processor power-driven by Intel Atom SoC, 8 GB built-in memory, 2GB RAM, 720p resolution display and 5.5 inch screen. It has a 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera and runs up to 2,500mAh and costs RM599 ($167).
