Company CEO Hints OnePlus Two Price and Processor
After negotiating with some of the potential buyers of the upcoming OnePlus Two, the company CEO Liu Zuohu has hinted that the phone may be priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 25,000).
On Wednesday, Zuohu conversed with his Weibo followers, asking them what will be the appropriate price for the company’s next smartphone if it comes equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC. His followers suggested different price tags but he found price of 2,499 Yuan appropriate.
“If OnePlus Two comes with Snapdragon 810, what do you think will be the price?” Zuohu asked. And then on Thursday he replied, “2,499 Yuan seems to be a reasonable price.”
Mr Zuohu has already shared his plans of launching the phone during Q3 2015. The exact date, however, has not been given. Similarly, the company has not officially confirmed whether it will incorporate Snapdragon 810 or not; and will it come at the same price that has been suggested by the company chief.
Similar to its predecessor OnePlus One, which featured full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) on its 5.5 screen, OnePlus Two will also come with 5.5-inch screen but with better resolution with QHD (1440×2560 pixels).
The phone will be reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 810 processor and 4GB of RAM. For inbuilt storage, 32GB is specified. The smartphone will be equipped by 16-megapixel powerful rear snapper and 5-megapixel front facing camera. The phone will support 4G networks, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB and OTG connectivity.
OnePlus has high aspirations for smartphone selling. The company has planned to sell 3 and 5 million smartphones in 2015. And then in next year, it will strive to up its sales by 100 percent.
