Experts Tear Down The Apple Watch To Examine Its Components
On the very first day when Apple Watch has become available, some experts at iFixit have welcomed the wearable by tearing it down.
The experts did so with purpose to assess the internal parts of the device, which is indeed magnificent and captivating with its outer appearances.
According to the assessment, Apple Watch can be teared down with some extraordinary effort. The machinery is nicely soldered to the Apple S1 SiP (system in package). The screen and battery of the watch are replaceable though.
This is not the first time when an Apple product has been teared down. But this is the first time when many minuscule parts have been noticed in an Apple device. For an example, Apple Watch stainless steel variant encapsulates Taptic Engine and tiny gold tri-wing screws.
Apple has packed a 205mAh in the dial of its 38mm Apple Watch. Which is pretty less capacity as compared to 300mAh battery carrying Moto 360 smartwatch. Anyhow, Apple claims that this battery will last for 18 hours with one time charge.
Further the experts examined Watch’s heart rate monitor. According to them, it is a pulse oximeter which can measure the blood oxygen level. Surprisingly, Apple has never discussed this feature in any of the presentations about the Watch.
Couple of Weeks ago, Apple started offering online pre-orders for the Watch. Apple Watch received a very warm welcome in almost all the regions of the world. In particular, Chinese were too desperate to grab the watch.
