Samsung Galaxy S6 Camera Compared with S5
Do you remember the time between Samung Galaxy S4 and the release of Samsung Galaxy S5? If you compare the excitement between that and the excitement we have now when we have S5 at hand but we are waiting for Samsung Galaxy S6, you will see that there is one hell of a difference.
The primary reason is probably the S6 Edge model but let me show you another interesting reason.
We have already been teased by Samsung’s claims of a next level camera, now we have proof of what exactly they meant by that.
We have embedded a comparison video below that features the camera results of Galaxy S5 as well as Galaxy S6 while being tested together for various features like launch timings, auto focus results, OIS test and the grand master of all, the selfie test.
You can see the results for yourself in the video, but as far as the specifications are concerned let me list them down for you.
First off we have a 16-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel front camera – both of them come with F1.9 apertures. Moving on, the app loading time for Samsung Galaxy S6 is almost half that of S5 i.e. only 0.7 seconds down form 1.3 seconds.
Auto focus now includes tracking, there is better optical image stabilization, an auto HDR mode and the low light performance while taking pictures as well as movie has been improved.
Samsung Galaxy S6 was released on April 10, 2015 for the first 20 countries. Have you tried it out yet? If you have, what were your first impressions?
