Apple Watch Goes Out Of The Stock In China In Less Than An Hour
This is surprising: the stock for luxurious gold edition of Apple Watch was sold in less than an hour in China. The watch is priced at $20,000.
Author Ben Thompson visited every store to get the Apple smart watch but couldn’t find it anywhere. Cult Of Mac noticed and quoted Thompson’s tweet first.

Apple started offering pre-orders for Apple Watch Sport, Apple Watch, and Edition on Friday. People in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, and China can place orders now but they will have to wait to get their hands on the watch for another couple of weeks. Potential buyers in the UK can get the watch a little earlier than others.
It is being anticipated that Apple Watch will be able to allure buyers from all the markets with its fascinating features. The trend is obvious not only in China but in the US also where shipping time had to be extended for a couple of weeks more, than the originally set date April 24, after a warm response from the potential buyers.
The watch will get even warmer response in China whose large population is known for their great love for luxurious products. Some Chinese people are very interested in knock-off versions of Apple Watch and are willing to pay a little extra than the genuine prices.
