No More Beer and Wine Deliveries by AmazonFresh!
If you are one of the Amazon buyers who rely on their delivery services to get your hands on a worth having bottle of wine or a case of your favorite beer, you are out of luck my friend.
AmazonFresh has stopped delivering wines, beers and other liquors; the complete collection has been removed from the website.
Upon inquired why the entire collection of beers and wines had been removed, an AmazonFresh respondent didn’t come up with a reason but said that they weren’t sure whether the services will be restored or not:
I’m truly sorry that the beer and wine selections have been removed. Unfortunately, we really are not sure if or when the item will become available at this time. I completely understand how inconvenient and frustrating this can be. I will forward this feedback and comments to our business team.
While this is not the first case of its kind, previously InstaCart also stopped delivering liquors, it is still a possibility that AmazonFresh is dealing with some regulatory issues The company is based in Washington and the fact that they have a different set of rules could have caused a complication.
This is, however, just a speculation and only time will tell if the removal of beers and wines from the service offered is temporary or permanent.
We have reached out to AmazonFresh in order to get an elaboration into the reason behind the decision and will update you as soon as we get an official word. If this affects you, keep checking back for more.
