RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures Headed To Nintendo Switch
A completely new RollerCoaster Tycoon game is headed to Nintendo’s Switch console. RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures will release this upcoming holiday period and the game is being developed by NVizzio, who were responsible for the Touch spinoff game for smartphones and tablets.
NVizzio seems to be the new developer of the famous RollerCoaster Tycoon series, in collaboration with Atari. They’ve previously released RollerCoaster Tycoon World for PC, and they’re also currently developing RollerCoaster Tycoon Joyride for PS4 with PlayStation VR support.
The Switch version of the game will feature exclusive features, particularly in terms of controls. It’s unclear if the developers are referring to the Switch’s gyro aiming functionality, but it’s likely. Atari has promised in the past that a future Switch game would feature the full RCT experience, along with a Sandbox mode as well as a Career mode.
Bigben will be publishing the game, and a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet.
