Rumor: OnePlus 6 Will Come With 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of Storage And a 6,2” Display
The rumors about the upcoming and much-anticipated OnePlus 6 smartphone have been running wild lately, as it was previously reported that the display would have a notch at the top.
A Chinese website who has proven to be reliable in the past has now released specifications of the OnePlus 6 smartphone, although it’s best to take this information with a grain of salt. Nonetheless, the information does seem likely and corresponds with earlier leaks and rumors.
One remarkable leak is the device’s price tag. According to the website, the new flagship device from OnePlus will carry a 749 dollar price tag, although it is more likely that this is the price in Canadian dollars. The USD equivalent would be more in line with the price for the current OnePlus 5T smartphone.
It’s practically a given that the OnePlus 6 will be running on a Snapdragon 845 system-on-a-chip, and the company has had a tradition of including a hefty amount of internal memory. The OnePlus 6 isn’t an exception to that rule, as it would come with no less than eight gigabytes of internal storage. The maximum available storage capacity would be 256 gigabytes.
The display would be 6.2 inches large and feature a 19:9 aspect ratio such as the one used in the OnePlus 5T. A previous photo leak of the phone suggests that the OnePlus 6 will feature a small notch at the top of the display and minimal bezels.
The specifications listed on the website list a similar camera setup to the one already present on the 5T: a 20-megapixel snapper being accompanied by a secondary 16-megapixel camera.
OnePlus is expected to officially reveal its OnePlus 6 smartphone this summer.
