Logitech Introduces New Speakers And Keyboard With LEDs and Lightsync
Logitech has announced a new set of gaming accessories that come equipped with built-in RGB lights and support for Logitech Lightsync.
The Logitech G560 is a new speaker set and features two separate speakers as well as a subwoofer for a 2.1 setup. The maximum power is 240 watts or 120 watts RMS, which makes these pretty beefy speakers. The RGB lights are embedded at the back and the bottom of the speakers.
The company has also announced the G513 which is a full-sized mechanical keyboard. You can choose between either linear or tactile mechanical switches of the Romer-G type, that was developed in-house by Logitech. The keyboard features a brushed aluminum design, a large wrist pad, and a USB 2 port.
Both of these new G-products come equipped with the company’s Gaming software as well as Lightsync technology. Supported games will be able to synchronize the RGB lights to certain events in games, or just adjust the RGB lights according to the background, similar to Philips Ambilight. Logitech states that there are three hundred games and counting with support for Lightsync, including The Division, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, Mafia III, Battlefield 1, Civilization V and more.
The G560 speakers come with a $249 price tag, while the mechanical keyboard will cost you $179. Both products should launch this coming April.
