AMD Announces Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition
As of this writing, December is but a day away and, in addition to Christmas, we have AMD’s latest major software update to look forward to. Since 2015, AMD has followed a cycle of releasing a major update every year with smaller updates peppered throughout as needed. In 2015, we saw the release of Radeon Software Crimson and 2016 gave us Radeon Software ReLive Edition.
This update brought with it several new features, but the most notable was the release of an in-game recording software meant to compete with that offered by Nvidia.
Today, they’ve announced their newest update in the form of Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition. The YouTube video didn’t give us much in the way of details beyond the fact that it will be focused on “empowering gamers and improving the visual experience.” That being said, with the release of the newest AMD graphics cards, we’re hopeful that this new software will help us squeeze every last ounce of performance out of them.
Sadly, we don’t have anything concrete to go on right now, but the software will be out sometime this month so we don’t have too long to wait. In the meantime, the announcement video can be seen below.
