EVGA Releases Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti KINGPIN Hydro
Nvidia’s GTX 1080 Ti is still one of the best GPUs on the market and EVGA is gearing up to release a custom version of the card that’s sure to be on many gamers’ Christmas lists. The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti KINGPIN Hydro Copper is liquid-cooled and can reach 2,025MHz.
The clock speed puts it on par with the air-cooled versions of the Nvidia cards which were released earlier this year. The card’s nine thermal sensors ensure that the card can handle overclocking to your exact specifications. The card offers stock speeds of 1,582MHz and 1,695MHz, but we doubt anyone who buys this card will be running it at stock speed as it has been built with overclocking in mind.
In most respects, this card is very similar to the air-cooled Kingpin that was released earlier this year, but there are a few differences in terms of video outputs and pin connectors. This model of the Kingpin offers three mini display ports, an HDMI out and DVI port. The card’s two 8-pin connectors are found on the back of the Kingpin likely to keep them as far from the water block as possible.
As nice as this card is, and it does look nice, it does not come cheap. It retails for $1,249.99 and can be ordered from EVGA today.
