The Huawei Mate 10 Pro Will Feature An Edge-to-Edge Display and Dual Camera Setup.
Venture Beat’s Evan Blass recently took to Twitter to unveil the latest renders of Huawei’s upcoming flagship Mate 10 Pro which is currently working under the code name of “Blanc.” The images show off an edge-to-edge display which isn’t too surprising considering Huawei’s midrange honor 7X will be shipping with one.

The phone has not been officially revealed yet, but we do have some information regarding specs. Despite the phone’s relatively thin size, we know it will be featuring a 4,000mAh battery so it should have decent battery life which is always a challenge with smartphones.
Huawei’s phones have always featured good cameras and the upcoming Mate 1o Pro appears to be no exception featuring a dual-rear camera setup with a 20-megapixel primary camera and a 12-megapixel secondary camera. The phone will also come with a front-facing 8-megapixel camera.
In terms of processing speed and power, the Mate 10 will ship with Huawei’s Kirn 970 chip and 6GB of RAM. In terms of onboard storage, the phone will offer the option of either 64GB or 128GB of storage.
The phone will also be fairly durable featuring IP68 water and dust certification. Technically, this means that the phone can be submerged under 1.5 meters of water for half an hour before being damaged, but we don’t recommend trying to use it underwater. Tests such as those are done under laboratory conditions while the phone is in standby mode. The phone will probably be fine if you were to drop it in the sink or something, but we wouldn’t want to test it by trying to take pictures underwater.
The Mate 10 Pro will likely be powered by Android 8.0 Oreo and will launch sometime this December though the exact date has not been revealed.
