AMD Sets Press Conference for 31st of May to Announce Radeon RX Vega GPU’s
At this year’s Computex convention in Taiwan, AMD will hold a press conference on the 31st of May. It’s almost certain that AMD will announce their newest generation of graphics cards, AMD Radeon RX Vega. The chip manufacturer has promised and assured multiple times that the RX Vega GPU’s would release before the end of June, so this press conference seems like the perfect timing to announce the new cards.
AMD has announced this in an invitation email to tech journalists. AMD’s CEO Lisa Su will be hosting the presentation and press conference and will announce and detail new products and techniques that AMD will release in the remainder of the year, together with a couple of other AMD officers.
AMD has already announced some details regarding their Radeon RX Vega chips but hasn’t made any official announcements yet. The email also clarifies that AMD has made a comeback to the market of processors for desktops with their recently released Ryzen like. More than likely, the press conference will also have a few announcements in terms of CPU’s as well.
The company still has to announce its different Ryzen 3 CPU’s, which are positioned below the Ryzen 5 and the Ryzen 7 chips. Rumors have it that AMD is also planning to take on Intel’s high-end desktop platform with Ryzen CPU’s featuring a whopping 12 and 16 cores.
