ASUS Launches Affordable VG275Q 27-inch Gaming Monitor Soon
ASUS has introduced a new and affordable 27-inch monitor aimed towards gamers: the VG275Q. The display uses a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and features a regular TN panel. The response time is excellent at 1 ms and the refresh rate is set at 75 Hz, with support for AMD FreeSync.
Maximum brightness of the VG275Q is 300 cd/m² and the display will also feature built-in gaming presets. The monitor has viewing angles of 170°/160° (horizontally and vertically, respectively) and also features a non-PWM method of controlling the LED brightness of the display. This allows for less flickering and it can also reduce the amount of black light displayed. Maximum power consumption of the Asus monitor has been rated at 40 watts.
In terms of connectivity, the VG275Q features two HDMI 1.4 ports, a single DisplayPort 1.2a connection and there’s also a VGA port present. The monitor is fairly adjustable and can be adjusted in height, swiveled, rotated and pivoted. The Asus VG275Q is expected to launch sometime in June for a recommended price of around $300.
